Can someone explain what the difference is?
I have always been a 3dfx Voodoo fan (hence that's why I'm sitting here with a soon to be worthless V5), so I haven't dealt too much into GeForce, BUT now I have a question about these cards. What is the difference in these cards:
GeForce2 Ultra 64MB
GeForce2 TI 64MB
GeForce2 TI 32MB
GeForce2 Pro 64MB
GeForce2 MX400 64MB
GeForce2 MX400 32MB
GeForce2 MX200 64MB
GeForce2 MX200 32MB
GeForce2 GTS 64MB
GeForce2 GTS 32MB
Of course I understand the different amounts of memory, but look at the GTS, Pro, Ultra, and TI. Which is the BEST card??

All Geforce2 cards use different core speeds and memory speeds. The MX series uses SDRAM at 128 bit or DDR at 64 bit its considered the budget card. Thats about all I want to go into right now otherwise I would be here all day going over each cards spec's and performance ratings. Just search for GeForce2 reviews on Google and you should find everything you need to know.

The best video card right now? Personally, I'd go for Hercules 3D Prophet III Titanium 500. That's today...who knows what tomorrow will bring...

tommorow will bring the Geforce 4, and who knows what from ATI.
It's too dificult (and way too expensive) to keep up with video cards anymore. I'm sticking with my Radeon VIVO 64MB DDR for a while.

Best value card for price and performance is the
NVIDIA GFORCE 3 TI {200}.
If you got plenty dollers then get the {500}.
Your games will fly like never before.

Thanks guys. The point is that I am a tech that is putting together a machine for a friend, unfortunately after going top of the line for all his other parts, he is going to suffer with a video card (lack of cash). So far, for under 400 he has an Asus A7M266 AthlonXP1600 256MBRAM, 45GB RAID Drive. Now he is low on cash and must skimp (temporarily) on a V/C. I haven't dug too deep into NVIDIA YET, and I was interested. The G3 Ti200 sounds about price right!

The Ti200 is a good choice and should be useful for some time.
