    Post Windows Video Reboot Loop

Several of my friends along with myself have run into an issue, mainly with nVidia cards that Windows will get into a loop and continuosly reboot. Microsoft has stated that this is a known problem with all cards but it primarily seems to affect nVidia cards. Does anyone know if this is true, and if so is there a "fix"? Thanks for the help.
My brain went into standby mode and I can't get it to wake up, is there a BIOS patch for this?

First thing I would try is to disable AGP4X in Bios. Then change the AGP Driving value to EA. Disable all memory shadowing. Go into Safe Mode & change the drivers abck to the last good set that you used. Also remove MS Backup if installed as well.

9/10 times a change in drivers will sort the problem out.

VIA chipset motherboard? As Darren suggested set AGP Driving value from auto to EA or CC as recommended by Tyan. DA also works.

Thanks for the suggestions, unfortunately most have been tried, the last thing I have left to do is to try changing the AGP driving control in the BIOS to see if that makes a difference. Otherwise I think I'm putting in a different video card, it seems to be OK with ATI's as of now so I'll swap the GeForce4 for the Radeon 8500 I have in another machine.

I like your signature at the end of your post by the way Darren.
