I am searching for Award id 1430VX-10031996C-00. Keep getting Checksum Error every once and awhile and expect bios is currupt. Also have custom utility that tells me the current bios is not Y2K compliant when I get the error.

It shows the manufacturer as EPOX

    Award BIOS Hardware Vendors

In order to obtain an updated BIOS for your system, you will need to indentify the motherboard manufacturer and BIOS identification number. To do this, reboot the machine. You will need to record the BIOS ID string, which will be located at the bottom-left corner during startup. On most systems, you can press the Pause key during the memory test to suspend the process and allow more time to properly copy the ID string. The string should be similar to the example below.

Digits 6-7 identify the motherboard manufacturer, which can then be identified from the table below. Note that some AwardBIOS motherboards may have a different scheme for identification. In this case, the manufacturer will typically be identified below the Award BIOS header at the top of the screen.
