Restoring Outlet Express Messages
After experiencing "Msimn.exe" error I regenerated the Identies Registry Key and attempted to restore account settings, addresses and mail messages.
I was successful in restoring account settings and address book but when I restarted Outlet Express, the message files were missing.
I located the various message folders in the Recycle Bin and followed the Restore procedure. However, the files are still missing from Outlet Express.
Where might they have been 'restored' to? And how do I recover/transfer to Outlet Express folders?

IF you are talking about Outlook Express;
In XP Pro they are under C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Local Settings\Identities (last folder therein).
Try an 'Import' from OE.

Welcome to Windrivers minotgm
Find all the dbx files and copy them to a safe location such as my documents/backup mail.
Open outlook express, file import - import from a store directory radio button at the bottom of the wizard and then import (filtering for duplicates).
Even if the dbx files are in the right place, OE can't see them until they have been imported.
