I googled Lenovo 3000 n100 back light and found this link also. What I don't understand why wasn’t it installed when IBM repaired it ???? I did see a very dim screen image a few times when I tried it before going to the monitor. I wish I was getting paid by the hour for reseaching and trying to repair this machine. I could buy a dozen new ones by now! I really appericate the people that are helping me ..Don
