USB Problems
I cannot get WIn 98 to recognize my Microsoft USB Keyboard and mouse. I have installed the drivers about 5 times and they installed fine but it still won't recognize them. I also can't get rid of the serial mouse and keyboard. It keeps re-installing them when I re-boot. HELP!!!

I have not seen this problem yet, but I will try to help. Run REGEDIT and delete the ENUM key from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Restart the machine and enter the BIOS. Ensure that Legacy/DOS USB Support is enabled. Exit the BIOS and turn the machine off. Unplug your standard Keyboard & Mouse and insert the USB ones. Restart the system and let Win98 find all the new hardware.
This may not work but it is worth a try.
I have found no need for USB Keyboards & Mice yet as nothing else uses the same ports as them anyway ( unless the Mouse is Serial ).
