Drive recovery software
about two months ago, I remember a thread about software that did an excellent job recovering lost data. Some of the poeple had said that they had even formatted NTFS and were able to get some of the data back. Any of you know what this was or a similiar product.
Reason is that I have a floppy from a user that corrupted. It has a importyant spreadsheet that the user only kept there. (DA!) Anyways, I need to try to recover it. Any ideas?

I'm not sure if this is the software you saw but Lost&Found works well. I was even able to recover data on a drive that the cmos autodetect wouldn't see. I had to enter the numbers into cmos manually but hey, so what! I think Powerquest is the company that makes it. I think with a credit card purchase you can even download the full deal, don't quote me on that though as I haven't been to their site in awhile.

Rescue Professional is what you need but good luck finding it. If the drive spins whether IDE/SCSI/Floppy or anything else then you can recover the data off of it. But it is hard to find. You can punch a whole in a floppy and recover the remaining data, it is very cool, i have done some crazy stuff with that software.
