T7300 Vs T7250

Is there a big difference when it comes to gaming?..the T7300 has 4MB L2 cache and the T7250 has 2MB L2 cache..but there is a huge price difference in my country.

Cache size will have some effect, but for gaming, I think it's safe to say other factors will have more effect. Video performance foremost, also hard drive performance and adequate RAM.

In these tests, gaming benefited less from the larger cache than some other types of application.

It's difficult to predict exactly. The really big benefit from a larger cache will occur if it allows a process or dataset to be contained entirely within the cache, rather than being shuffled between system memory and cache with the smaller cache. That type of difference can be the reason one game shows over 5% benchmark improvement with the larger cache, whereas another only gets 1%.

Dude, if I was in your shoes, I would save the money and get the 2mb cache but spend what I saved on a better video card.

What motherboard are you proposing to use?

Doesn't have to be of course, but I was thinking it's probably going to be a laptop purchase.

I was thinking homebuilt media centre...mostly because that's what I want to build for myself but my car just put pay to that idea for a while.
