How can I Network XP pro with a MAC
Is there any way to network a drive on a XP machine to a Macintosh? I know with Windows NT server, you could create a MAC Voulume. I know there is no XP server, but can you create a MAC Volume on XP Pro? Any help is greatly appreciated.

A friend of mine did this, with a Win98 box. I'm sure it is similar in XP. He used a Shareware/Freeware utility(don't know the name) to setup a FTP server on the Win98 box and a FTP client on the Mac. I'd check download.com or some other site and try to find a FTP util.
Maybe someone will post more.

I didn't know about a Mac volume. That would have been useful info for me a few weeks ago.
I ended up going the FTP route. On OSX you can easily setup ftp access w/o any 3rd party apps. and to connect to the pc from the mac you can create a SMB:// reference to the shared pc location.

Do you leak any fluids, do you have any bumps on your rear, do you have any unpleasant odors?
If you answered yes to any of these then you are not qualified to own a new AMD ATHLON XP.
If someone ask you if you are running the all-new fastest AMD ATHLON XP, just turn around and reply "WHY YES, AND ITS CERTIFIED"
