IE6 in Winxp (both sp1) crashing!
I can't figure this one out.
Internet Explorer in Winxp pro is chrashing every few minutes on a system. Everything else on the system is working fine.
While browsing a box with pop up saying there was any error and click ok to close. The details say it has to do with mshtml.dll. It is espically frequent if you highlight/select text on the screen.
The one thing that has changed on the system is that my Epox 8k3a+ motherboard died and is out for RMA and I have temporaory placed it with a abit Kx7-333r. Both are via kt333 boards with highpoint raid onboard.
So what might be cause the crashing in JUST IE6?
Help!

This was a common error for ME...
Try reapplying sp1 at a guess...
Edit: Gator and others are guilty of this screwup - run adaware from www.lavasoft.de

And this file got screwed up a lot in 98/ME - the advice was to reinstall it, if that didn't work, replace the dll.

I will try those when I get home.
But why on earth would highlighting text accelerate the problem?! I thought maybe it was a driver problem or something but i don';t see how....
