Usb to Ps2 adapter not recognized
I am trying to get a usb mouse with a adapter to Ps2 to work on a computer using windows xp home edition. It is a emachine brand computer. I checked the bios already to see if it was something in there but thats all good as far as i can tell. Any ideas? It is a Microsoft IntelliMouse 1.1A Usb compatible mouse. TIA

Is it the original USB adapter that came with the mouse? Perhaps the adapter is faulty. Try another adapter if possible. Also, try the mouse on another computer to see if it is working correctly.
