error no pci id detected
i have a dell 8200 switched from xp to 98 and now my display wont come off 16 colors when i try to download the driver for the graphics card it says no pci id found on nvagp.inf how can i fix this?

gforce 440 i have downloaded the the driver but it tells me the driver cant install due to the detected device has no pci id in nvagp.inf

I'm guessing that means that the driver you downloaded does not have a pci id which matches the one for your video card. Where did you download the driver from? Try downloading the nvidia driver here.
