cd will not auto start
When I Put A Cd Like A Picture Or A Game In My Cd Rom It Will Not Auto Start I Have To Go To My Computer And Open It From There I Have Tryed Almost Everything I Know I Went To Propites And Change Sittings In Auto Play Still Works The Same I Have A Hp 560w Windows Xp Its A Cd Writer Plus It Use To Work As Soon As You Put Any Cd In It But Also Notice That Now When I Plug My Digtal Camera In It The Same Thing You Have To Go To My Computer And Open It From There Please Help I Am Very Stumped On This One

I am confrunting with the same mattrer about playing CD-s. The first thing you have to chek is that there is a cable in your PC between the CD-unitr and the sound board. Aftre that, try fo find a proper driver... But wathc for that cable.

Welcome to windrivers sekeea. The audio cable is not generally necessary. If you go to the properties tab for your cd drive, there should be a check box to enable digital cd audio. Most systems made in the last 5 years will support this. If you are having trouble with autoplay, see the link noo posted above.

I WENT TO THE LINK THAT NooNoo sent me and it was what i was looking for i did what it said but if it wont for my girl friends pc its the same pc as i have and hers worked i was not really sure about changing the value to 91 but i opened her Registry up and put the 91 in mine had a bunch of numbers and characters in it how it got there i dont know but it made it work right again and also when i plugged my digtal camera in the usb it would not auto start and it fixed that to so NooNoo really knows his computers and if i have any problems hope NooNoo responds just one thing to NooNoo you got to get my internet speed up do i am taking all this back ......lol just joking i know the deal with my poor phone lines i was just looking for some NooNoo magic thanks again and dont worry i am working on some new problems ...lol
