[RESOLVED] Disappearing Password
My password suddenly will not remain in the Dial-in logon box for Internet even if I check the save password box.
All ideas given a fair trial.
Many thanks.

Taqwus, are you going to try to remember? I have had the same problem but failed in finding a solution, it just started working again after a while!

I am not sure about your system (I'm running Win 95) but I have to have Client for Microsoft Networks installed and selected in the Network tab of Control Panel to save the password.

Dear Taqwus,
Have you recovered your memory yet?

The easiest solution is to create a duplicate dial up entry or delete the present one and recreate it.

Dear MSN_tec,
Tried creating new login to same & different ISP's-no password retained.
Perhaps there's something wrong in the registry?

you must be logged into microsoft networking. If you are not being prompted for username and password on startup delete your pwl file and restart making sure you log in.
