    Unhappy Windows locks up!

Just wondering if anyone has experienced a problem similar to this: Usually in excel my computer locks up when I am using the grey scroll bar(NOT using a scroll button on the mouse itself) At first I thought it might be a problem with the processor (had a cele 300 w/o cache) but I just swithced the processor and I still have the problem. I am running win98 with a cele 400 and 64mb on a aopen AX6LC motherboard. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance

We've seen this problem in word with some of the AOpen Video Cards (sis chipset) turn off the option for "smoothing screen fonts" and the problem should go away. (if it is the same issue)
