Copy paste problem

OK, In windows 2000 I try to copie text from Microsoft word 97 to microsoft Outlook 2000. After you try to paste it into outlook windows freezes any ideas?

You can copy test from outlook and then paste into outlook but not from another application to outlook.

it's probably freezing because of all the style attributes that are associated with the document. what you could try is copy from word into notepad which will strip off all the style attributes then copy/paste from notepad to outlook.
