[RESOLVED] Striping Win XP

In Win 2000 the boot section cannot be on a striped drives. Windows Me can boot from a striped drives. Will XP install and boot on striped drives or am I going to have to remove my striping? I would love an answer to this question before I really screw my system up, but I cannot find anyhting about it at microsoft. Can anyone out there help me? John

My guess is that you are trying to upgrade ME to XPPro, but your question is will the striping on the system partition from ME work during an upgrade. I don't have any reference on that, but my educated guess is NO. Win2k and XP are two in the same, with only minor changes and some additions. You would need to break the stripe first (if this can be done), then upgrade to 2k/XP.
