Medal of Honor - Allied Assault
I just got this game and it is way cool. FPS built on the Q3 engine, based on the D-Day invasion of WWII. You actualy go through the D-Day beach assault, I must have died 20 times times before I got through. Very realistic in Single player mode. And the muli-player maps are OUTSTANDING!!! A little bit of everything in them, and much like Counterstrike in a WWII setting.

agreed 100 percent... Mayhem, i am quite obsessed with this game as well... the multi-player is loads of fun, provided you can connect to a server that is free of dial-up fools...

I was a bit perturbed about some of the snipers though. It seemed they could see me through trees and bushes that I couldnt see them through. It was also disapointing that they could go prone and I could not.
The Dragon has left the building.

I haven't gotten that far yet, I'm still calling in airstrikes at the bridge. But I know what you mean about the snipers having certain advantages. they can hit you from far away through trees and you have sacrifice yourself too many times looking for a muzzle flash to shoot at. I hope to finish single player mode soon because I want to try multiplayer.

I have this sitting on my desk, waiting to be installed.
I havent done it yet, as Ive been playing some Diablo II, and forcing myself to play through Dungeon Siege (it should really be called "Click around the map until you hear something dieing Siege")..
Might install it in a day or so, get stuck into it.

The min is 450mhz, 128 RAM, 8x CD/DVD, 1.2GB, DX8, 16MB vid card.
Recommended is: 700mhz, 32mb vid. I have been playing it with my P4 1.6 with 768 DDR and GF 4 Ti and it looks and plays great even at 1024x768 res.

Have you noticed that at long distances, the rocket tends to stray from the target?

WWII "bazookas" were not very acurate. They were intended to knock out tanks at 50 yds or less. I am actually surprised at the acuracy of some of the weapons. The Thompson was the epitome of spray and pray. It seems more accurate in the game, although the recoil effects are VERY accurate. Hold that trigger and the muzzle climbs.
