PCMCIA 5.1 Sound Card
Is there such thing as a 5.1 PCMCIA Sound Card? I know that there are stereo sound cards for laptop that are available in PCMCIA, but I have a laptop that I use and have the 5.1 Klipsch speakers for my desktop that I would like to use with my laptop. Plugging in just the front speakers to the laptop is no problem, but that's only 2.1. I searched the net but didn't find anythin, I don't think there is one, but wanted to make sure.....

I have a friend who uses this for his laptop.

This is the Sound Blaster Extigy. $150 (retail anyway).

Yeah, I was looking through the pc world magazine and saw that, I guess that's the only thing. My friend (it's his laptop) has a desktop as well, with the Klipsch 4.1 speakers, and he wanted to use those. I don't think that's worth it, but I wil let him know. Thanks a lot. :-)

The only other thing I can think of which is not true 5.1 is to use a stereo splitter.
