    Angry Toshiba Laptop 315cds screen problem

    In the top right of my laptop screen its black and i cant see things in that area...its a full screen display ...to give you a clue: if i move the mouse in that area i can click and do things but i cant see what im clicking on ...can someone help me?

    If you shine a light on the part of the screen that's black, can you see the icons and so on?

    From what yoou have described, you have what is most commonly known as "a defective LCD screen". You will need to take it to a service center to have the LCD replaced, or find one on E-bay

    when i first had the laptop I didnt have this problem ...and no its not just an area where the color fades out, i can only describe it like a patch covering something

    So its like taking tape and covering a part of your screen...you cant see whats behind it, but you can click things under it that are supposed to be in their praticular area
