NTVDM error
I have been going crazy 2 days now-just got a Lexmark z-611 printer and when ever I click on install on Lexmark disk I get a NTVDM has generated errors message and I can't install the printer. Computer also doesn't recognize the new device. I have Windows 2000 Professional installed. Please help.

I resolved the issue myself. I had to un-install printers where ever I found them , had to disable anti-virus and firewall, restart computer-and reinstall the printer and get latest driver from Lexmark website instead of the installation cd.
Maybe this will help someone else.

Intel Mod
Thanks for posting back with the resolution, as you say it may well help someone else.
Sometimes the quirks of these things leave you with a lot less hair...
