[RESOLVED] Darren - please read
Heya, getting ready to reformat my PC, and you told me to hit F5 during the part of setup where it says 'press F6 to install third party RAID' , well my question is, if I press F5, will I still be able to install third party RAID, because I do need to. Or what order should I press them in (F5 first, F6 first?) thanks a bunch

If you are installing XP you don't need to install a Third Party Driver for your RAID card as XP has inbuilt drivers for it, even if you are installing the OS to it. I didn't need to use the Highpoint drivers supplied with the Board at all.

Well, I reformatted, and put myself to Standard PC, and here is the result: I notice in general its running better now, the little delays i used to get at times and some general drag is gone, and I can notice a marked improvement in performance, but I *still* have that damn webcam issue. I even purchased a Logitech Quickcam Web today that is supposed to be working under XP with the built in drivers, and I have the same issue. Anytime I am getting video feed from the webcam into the computer, after an amount of time the video just freezes, and until I reboot, i cant get any video at all. Went into system info and Sound card and UDMA100 are still both on IRQ 11. I have no idea why after I fixed the ACPI but I really wish I could get a webcam to work on my comp =(

If the sound card & UDMA are on the same IRQ still then you have one of the cards in the wrong PCI slot. Find the post I made originally with the breakdown of which slots share resources and then rearrange the cards as so.
