USB Driver for Matrix USB Hard Disk Enclosure

Hi,

I have a problem wherein my Compaq Presario 731ea fails to recognize Matrix USB Hard Disk Enclosure. The OS Windows XP reports that the device has malfunctioned or is not recognized and is categorized as an unknown device.

Could somebody please provide me the correct drivers? I have checked and downloaded from Compaq and MS but to no avail.

is the drive new and unformated or a existing /used drive

sorry , thats twice now.

the reason i said the above , is i was lookin at some websites for an external h/d for my lappy ,,,,,,

yes i have found usb drivers for most/all except usb pen ,,,

sites facs state xp will see them ,as a removable drive ,but not if they are virgin, ie: they need formatting first ,,,,format is inpossible in those situations

Did you find the driver? I also need one, can you tell me the site?
