New hard drive freezes computer
I just recently bought a new Seagate 120G IDE hard drive. When I installed it everything went fine for about a week or two. Then all the sudden it started to get really slow when trying to open any files/folders then when I would try to copy the files off of it it would give me a cyclical redundancy check error. So I reformated the drive now it will run fine for about an hour or two then my computer will just freeze. My computer works fine when I don't have it plugged in.
Thanks for any advice.

Please go to this site http://www.mypccenter.com - run a full scan and post the report link here - it will show all hardware/software information and will help finding the reason for your problem
