If any of you have heard of the new drive that Iomega has released, then you might think it's a bit interesting. For those of you who haven't, well read on.

Yeah, it may be a bit early to make any solid judgement on the drive, but heck, what are everyone's opinons?

Just for reference, here are the BASIC specs:
  • FireWire, USB 1.0 (and soon 2.0), and SCSI interface
    15 MB/second sustained transfer rate
    10 and 20 Gigabyte disks (your choice on one drive)


Those are really the bare bones.

Personally, I think the drive won't be all that bad. Heck, 10 or 20 GB disks are probably enough for many home users, and the transfer rate is not all that bad (so says Iomega), IMHO. But, personally, I'll just wait and see.

So what are your opinions people?
