Wireless networking problem
Hello all!
Ok, here it goes. I have a Linksys BEFSR41 10/100 4 port router. I recently purchased a NetGear ME012 Access point and a NetGear MA401 PCMCIA Wireless card for my laptop. I hooked it all up, configured and I don't have LAN or INternet access with my laptop. I do receive an error when I hover over the status icon...."Data Frame Errors - Check WEP Settings"
The laptop can communicate and "see" the Access point, but the router only detects a "Link/Act" from the port that the Acess point is plugged into. "Full/Col" and "100" lights on the router are not lit up. I have tried different cables, and different ports on the router, but with no luck.
Are the Netgear and LinkSys products compatible??? If anybody has done this successfully, I would appreciate the help!! TIA!!
