I just installed a sound card and new speakers on a PIII, WIN98 machine that previously was used on a network, no card or speakers. I have installed the software for the sound card and it looks like windows is recognizing it (have checked device mgr & multimedia). There is no sound. I have tested with chimes.wav and in "sound", everything looks normal but still no sound. I NEED sound. What do I do.
