$35 in shop, 0 markup (we don't sell parts without service), $25 minimum
$65 on-site, 0 markup, $65 minimum, trip fees for out of town
More for Unix/Linux/Novell, etc the $65 is DOS/3.x/95/98/ME/NT/2000 only. Networking is sometimes extra as are printers, depends on the job.

I never state a price, I always offer to do the work for free since most of the time it is a friend, friend of the family, friend of a friend, or family of a friend. I always end up making 40-200 bucks an hour. The upper is what business owner friends pay me.
oh yeah, i don't mark up prices of parts.

If building a system for a friend, I would charge for the parts without markup, unless supplied. For labor, Good friend = $0. Work or Neighboor friend = $100. Casual friend = $175. If it is business ---- $300 to $400 depending on the complexity of the system. Considering it is a full scale graphics system, you could run into plenty of problems unless you know that ALL the components match. As well, you need to consider who is picking out (researching) the parts list and WHERE they are coming from. Bottom line -- it could go easy, or end up as your worst nightmare.
Good Luck
