[RESOLVED] Partition Magic or Partition Commander?
I now need to do more than FDISK will allow! Which of these two competing products do you find easier to use? More features? Reliable? Thanks! Dave

I think gdisk that comes with Norton Ghost has some features that might be of interest to you. Your saying fdisk doesnt do enough? Are you trying to resize? If so that gdisk wont help. You can also look for a program called Parition Resizer, its free to.

I used Partition Magic 6. I think it is the best software you can use for resizing your harddisk. It also supports W2K. You can use this version while running W2K or you can start it up from a bootdisk.
You can also use PM 5, but this version will not work under W2K unless you use a bootdisk.

I agree with rover, partition magic is excellent, especially if you want to resize, and move partitions....then again System Commander 2000 does all this too and has a back step wizard if things go awry.
Such is life!

Although System Commander do the same. I love PM6
Also System Commander Puts "things" in your MBR (Fdisk /mbr...).
