    Post CD-Burner rights in 2000

I have a 2000 Pro system with a burner & NERO 5.56. When logged in as an administrator, it works fine. When logged in as a normal user, NERO comes back with a message saying 'burn rights are required by NERO to access the cd-rw'. The burner itself has 'Everyone - Full Control'. Anybody know how to set the rights for NERO in 2000, without having to set a user up as an administrator? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

    Cool

We have had exactly the same problem. It's to do with CD-RW software needing access to the hardware directly - which W2k blocks, it's just the way it works.

I've heard that Easy CD Creater 5 will run on normal user rights, but have never tested it.

I know ver 4.0 does not as I've just spent an hour this morning trying it.
Good day to be alive, sir
Good day to be alive he says, yeah
