Most decent audio mixing software will allow you to "capture" audio from a Sound cards line in. This is why Copy protection on an audio CD is useless, but I digress. You'd run a stereo jack from your Minidisc headset to the stereo input on the SC. Check Radio Shack for the appropriate cable. You may have to play with the volume setting a bit on minidisc player, but again most mixing softwares have a decent "normalize" features for volume level control. Then just convert the raw wav to CDA or mp3.
<disclaimer>Oh, and of course I'm assuming you are NOT doing anything that could be possibly misconstrued as a violation of someone IP rights or a violation of the DMCA. <end disclaimer>

What Necromancer said will work, but you will lose some of the audio quality by converting it from digital (on the minidisc) to analog (through the cable to your computer) and back to digital again (your sound card's recording).
According to <a href="http://www.sel.sony.com/SEL/consumer/ss5/home/mdwalkmanrtm/minidiscwalkmanrecorderspcbundles/mz-r700dpcblu.shtml" target="_blank">this page</a>, your minidisc has the capability to connect to a computer via a USB cable. That would likely be the fastest way to transfer the data, since you'd be ripping it digitally instead of recording the line out in realtime. Some minidiscs also have the capability to use SPDIF (Sony/Philips Digital Interface) which is another digital interconnection format.

Mini-Disk only allows optical digital link one way - in. So output must always be good old
analog. Best of luck.
