[RESOLVED] overclock PIII 550 katmai
Does anyone know how 'hot' a PIII 550 Katmai should be running at? I have 1 PSU fan, 2 case fans and heatsink with fan on processsor which holds the chip at around 50 degrees C (sorry don't know the conversion) clocked to 600 (FSB@109).
The reason I ask is that I have just upgraded to PC133 ram and so have been thinking about switching the FSB up to 133. Any thoughts much appreciated.
Full spec:
PIII 550 @ 600 (109 fsb)
256 mb PC133
Abit BE6-II mboard
Creative GEforce 2 32mb ddr

You should get about a 5 degrees difference.
55C should be the maximum temperature, assuming everything else works fine!

I doubt the katmai core is going to make it to 733...but good luck anyway...!
