Windows 2000 Service Pack 3???
As I was installing Adobe Photodeluxe Home Edition 3 onto my new pc with Windows 2000 Pro., a message popped up indicating that I would eventually need Windows 2000 Service Pack 3.
I went looking for it, but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know anything about this?

That is fresh. An application asking for a patch that doesn't exist? You should check Adobe's site for additional information. Perhaps enter a question in their FAQ. If you find out more, please post back...

More specifically:
<a href="http://www.adobe.com/support/products/photodeluxe.html" target="_blank">http://www.adobe.com/support/products/photodeluxe.html</a>
I noticed in the support downloads that there is a version 3.x in the windows downloads. Perhaps is that what the installation was implying?
Also, there is a forum there, but you have to create a user. They might be able to address your problem.

You may not be far from the truth. I found this article, referencing win2k with SP3. Still haven’t looked for the download. I feel compelled now to start looking. I remember not to long ago there was a post SP2 rollup of hot fixes. It is still available; I just don't have a link.
Here is the MS article I was talking about...

Now, we have a search for Service Pack 3: Microsoft's Hidden Service Pack.
And you're right: You never go to the drive-thru!!! You always go to the counter. And do you know why? O.k., o.k., o.k., o.k., THEY F*CK YOU AT THE DRIVE-THRU!!! THEY F*CK YOU AT THE DRIVE-THRU!!! They know you're gonna be miles away before you know you got f*cked!!

Not only do I know the movie, and I absolutely love that flick! Joe Pesci made that movie so much better.
Anyway, I'll be sure to say something, if I ever find SP3. Here's a thought: Look through Google's newsgroups for additional information.
I'll check with my subscribed newsgroup service.

Yeah, according to the article 45 days after August 20, 2001. It should be available by now!?!

Probably a typo. Email Adobe and confirm.

Hi, I can verify that sp3 will be out shortly. I know somebody that maintains one of the testing labs for MSFT. She told me that MSFT is really pushing to get this latest service Pack out.
Bye - KN

I'm curious as to when SP3 will be released and what it'll do for Windows 2000.
