auto logon to domain?
I would like to set up 2000 pro to auto login to a domain(nt). Is there away I can set this up so when customers turns on pc it will go directly to there desktopand have access to domain resources[IMG]

four ways,
1. you can edit the registry (dont remember the keys)
2. you can install tweakui 1.33 and set it to autologin (does the same as the registry hacking)
3. set it in the policys for the machine (although i think domain policies override - so make sure it isnt defined on the domain level)
4. in hte users and passwords control panel - you can make windows assume a user.. (i think...)
I have always done the tweakUI 1.33

Create an Autolog.reg file in the root of the boot drive. (At least that is what I do in NT 4). I can send you a sample if you like. After you edit it and save changes, double click on it to make the registry changes, then reboot the machine. Sorry so vague, haven't done it in a while.
