resetting bios
I'm trying to reset the bios on my IBM ThinkPad 760XL so I can get pass a bios password I can't remember.

I think i remember this model I think the bios battery is located just above the keyboard near the hinges on the right hand
side if you were sitting in front of it
if you take all power\batteries out of the machine then the bois battery for 15-20 seconds to should reset the bios

If it's a BIOS password and not a system one, you can use a soft BIOS reset utility, such as KillCMOS. I'm not sure, but I think you can find it if you follow the Tech Utilities section on Windrivers homepage.
