WinME and DOS HELP quick info needed
Hi gusy i am TRYING to format my HHD but how can i boot into dos ??? i put a disk in the a:\ to get a sys error when rebooting but its not working .. please get back to me .. thank you

This disk that your putting into drive A:, is it a start-up disk or is it just a plain empty 1.44?
If it is you need to create the "start-up" disk.
To create one, open Add/Remove Programs in control panel. Click on the "Start-Up Disk" tab, and then click on create disk.

WinME has removed the boot disk capabilities as far as I have seen.. You're best bet would be to go to <a href="http://www.bootdisk.com" target="_blank">www.bootdisk.com</a> and download a Win98SE boot disk and boot from that.

What? I have ME with a bootup disk and it works fine... Maybe the disk is bad? Try making another boot disk.
