Creative CD-RW 4224
Please, can anyone tell me why, when doing Audio CD-Copies, and even compilatoins, Nero (the software that comes with Creative's Drive) locks my system up. I have turned DMA settings off on both CD drives, and that seemed to fix the compilation lock-up. CD-Copies, however, just aint happening. This lock-up/freeze even fools my anticrash anti-freeze "security guard". Ahead's Tech support cant seem to help. Can you all?

Sorry. Unfortunately, there was an independent tests conducted by a consumer magazine and Creative was identified as creating (or not) bad recordings. I sincerely hope that it is some problem that an updated software from some company can fix. I would welcome anybody with a fix to your problem. Good luck.

I almost forgot, (this may be a long shot) but you could "borrow" a copy of Adaptec's EZ Cd Creator from one of your friends and try that on your drives instead and see if it works. If all else fails, why not? CHEERIOS.

Make sure you Un-install Nero First! Your computer wont start if you have both on your system.

Well, 1) pls check that you got the latest patch files from Nero web site (http://www.ahead.de). 2) Try to create an image file of your compliation first before u "BURN" a disc.
