    Question Using proxy setting and ISP

    I use proxy server when at work and when I go home I connect using a local ISP.
    However before my I.E 5.5 was able to distinguish between the 2 connections..
    now I have to manually take the setting out and in at different places? whats wrong here?

    In the Connections properties of the properties of IE5.5 there is 3 choices for connection. The one you want to make sure you have selected is "Dial whenever a network connection is not present." Hope that helps.

    agree to the above but you can also make two diffrent hardware profiles for each location
