[RESOLVED] file scan on cd player

i have a quad speed cd player. sometimes i can see all my files on a cd and sometimes i cannot. i can see all folders on any cd
and some cds i can only a few files in the root directory any ideas?

Hi.
The answer is very simple:
The CD-ROM is too old for these CDs.
The brand-new cd-recorders use a way to write the TOC (Table Of Contents), that the older cd-roms can't recognize.
Sometimes you can't even see what's written on the cd.

My opinion?
Replace your cd-rom. You'll see a huge improvement.
