which cable routers work with windows me?
tried the i think it was the netgear version and couldn't get it running under windowsME.
all the ones i have seen list windows 95/98/nt and 2000 as required operating systems.
anybody running a windowsME network through one and if so which one are you using?
thanks.

your OS is irrelevant. it's just an independent machine. any router should work fine with ME.

Yeah, TK421 is right. It dont matter what os you got. I got about 6 OS'S running behind my Netgear RT311.

As long as you have some sort of TCP/IP support in the operating system it will work.

I agree it should not matter what os you are using, as long as you have tcp/ip set up and running correctly it should work.

I agree as well! Even if it was OS dependent, as far as I know, ME and Win2k share the same TCP/IP stack, so theoretically the router would work just fine with ME if it works with Win2k. Maybe the router you used was a POS...?
