Just plug in the sdram chip boot up the old PB and she should auto detect your new memory
, Make sure you unplug the computer before you install the memory since there is a stand by voltage on the board even when the PC is off
Format c I'm givin er all she's got cap'in !!! )

Hello ,
thanks for help , but in the Bios set-up , I cant access DRAM Bank 1 where it's written "None" (in the DRAM Bank 0 there is "SDRAM" ) and always my PC wont boot or doesnt recognize the new RAM !!!
How can I have access to this part of the Bios set-up

If you have a Packard Bell, you may have an incompatible SDRAM. There are several different styles, speeds, and voltages available and you would need to use the correct one or you would see exactly what you've reported.

I Had a similar problem.
Mine was just down to not having the right Mem board - the one i needed was PC 66 not PC 100 - also, is your BIOS up-to-date, another problem i had.
Once i flashed my BIOS, i had no more problems.
Just a couple of suggestions that may lead to your recovery
Logical sollutions come as standard
