MAKE SURE YOU HAVE NO! SPY WARE RUNNING IN THE BACK GROUND...If the computer seems to chewing up a lot of cycle Check all programs running behind windows explorer...check in the system registry for any unwanted apps...remove the keys and reboot...run a full scandisk and defrag if that doesn't fix it then check your hardware with Microscope...

It seems that running Norton was taking up a lot of memory. :] System is stable and everything is honky dory.

Computer hangs.

Check device manager for conflicts.

Try safe mode, if it runs alright then there is driver conflict with the system.

Try cmos defaults.

DVD Problem.

Try reinstalling the the video card,and then reinstall the DVD drivers and Software. This should install the proper DVD MPEG drivers and fix the problem.
