Actually most of the drivers listed are stored at driverguide.com and the drivers are uploaded by various people... its a bit hit and miss sometimes as whether they are complete drivers or if the file is corrupt.
The same people who do modemdrivers.com also do videodrivers, sound drivers etc etc
The only thing in their favour is that it made finding something on driverguide a little easier for the average joe... but they still have to sign up for driverguide.
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

thanx Noo...i stumbled on this page looking for a rather obscure driver and thot it looked handy. guess i should've investigated further.

and for all of us that used to check a dial up connection (before condeming the machine/modem) ,,,,this one was on windrivers , before it went "pay to view" (so to speak) .. http://homepage.tinet.ie/~leslie/testpage.htm ,,,,so bookmark it , friends !!!!
