    Win 98 Logon Issue

    Anyone ever run into the problem where a Win98 machine is trying to login to an NT domain and when the user type in their password and hits enter, they're presented with a dialog box that just has a red X in it and the words Microsoft Networking in the title bar? Once they close that box, they're put back to the login screen again. This goes on for a number of times until they're finally let into the system.

    Any ideas?

    Have seen it...Don't recall what was causing it...Seen it with 95 on the same network.

    Try deleting the *.pwl files on the PC to start...
