    Post Another Bios Screw up

I have a PC Chips M599LMR mobo. I was upgrading the cpu to a amd 450. Now the flash version was correct. The system boots up...goes through it's memory test then gets a bad cmos setting. I then hit F1 to enter CMOS....and just get a blinking cusor. Do I need to get a new bios chip or will changing my saved bios file to amiboot.rom and putting it onto a disk work?...Anyway would appreciate the input since I'v been mad lazy and now have 1 day to get this thing working for my boss...........................Robert

If it is possible to flash the old BIOS back, do it. It may solve the problem.

Otherwise you may have to hot swap a ROM chip on another motherboard and flash it with the PCChips one. Then simply put the ROM chip on the PCChips motherboard.
