Free Server antivirus/firewall
I'm setting up an evaluation copy of windows 2000 server at my home for learning purposes. I plan to alow it access to the internet through the DMZ function on my Linksys router so I'd llike to put antivirus and a software firewall on it. Unfortunatly free versions or worstation copies of software are normally smart enough to know that they are running on a server and will not install.
Do you know of any free antivirus and most important free firewall software that I can use on 2000 server? Anything is better than nothing so any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

This is what I use. Its not to shabby, and will get the job done.

Thanks for the tips guys.
Securepoint looks nice, but unfortunatly it would overwrite my server install and place a linux firewall on it in it's place. I almost did it too... Kerio does work very well, thanks adept!
Found a nice link for firewalls at http://www.free-firewall.org/
Still can't find an AV scanner that I can run for a decent length of time that will install on 2000 server. If anyone has any more suggestions for AV scanners I really would appreciate it.

I posted this a while back, but the link from Computer Associates still works and it's Windows 2003 ready: Free eTrust Antivirus.

You can temporarly share the c drive on the server, then map it from a workstation and scan it with any scanner.
It's not the most elegant solution, but it has worked for me in a pinch.
Indeterminism. There's nothing you can do about it.
