Life can be a bitch sometimes...
Sorry for the bad mood attitude, but I need to vent a little... OK a lot.
After a tough assignement from oct to dec (client super satisfied btw) came back to the office from the xmas vacation to a "sorry Dan, the contract we were hoping for you didnt came, so we have to let you go"... kinda unexpected.
Prospect in Quebect city sucks big time here, with that stupid gov waging war with the public sector, so almost every thing is on hold, with no projects (big or small) in sight for quite a while.
That was just for starters...
Next, my gf is bascally telling me she want to leave (not to bad in itself, but wait ...) and of course with our son.
( for the records: no way in hell, bi**h!)
To be follow of course by some major repair on my truck that really put a dent in my dwinling budget and finally my property tax that went from 1800$ to just bellow 2600$ (to be payed in april)
Anybody else with a good start on 2004?
Now, where is my 30.06 ?

I can tell you what I do in the face of lifes bull****. Get good and drunk over it for a couple weeks, purge most of the lousy emotions, then step up and wade into the problem. Adversity can be a great motivator once you get over feeling like ****.

Hi there,
All I can say, it could be worst. I got myself many crappy days, but I'm still surviving. I do hate my life at times, but keep fighting on... It will sort out...

Well thanks ya'all for the kind words and the rifle...
Yeah, I'll sit on it for a few days and it should get better, jobwise that is...
It kinda funny, but in retrospect, each time life throws me a curve ball, it usually turn out to be for the best.
It's just hard to see on the moment, but it almost never failed...

Tiens bon!
Life has cycles.
This one's an obvious "down in the dumps" section, with a little excursion off course into the "marsh of despair".
Just keep walking.
