flicker image
thanks,
I installed a winfastxp/ 2000 delux video capture card onto my xp pro system . Plenty of ram etc. I want to copy a video to dvd or cdrw disk. When i bring up the winfast software the video picture is flickering ,stuttering ,black and white.
checked the files and all appear ok. updated. The video card is a nvidia gf2 /mx 400. Obviously capturing the image from the video is to fast - not sure or how to overcome this. No sound as well which this problem could stem from. Audio causing the flickering .!!!!!

Video capture on a GF2 MX400 (the card I also have) may be taxing it a little.
What's more important - after RAM - is the speed of your hard disks so that the video stream can be placed there without lag.
The problem you describe does appear to sit with the vid card though. Can you tell us exactly which card and which drivers you are using?
