virus
I recently ran a scan on my machine and found a virus, need to know how to get rid of it. The virus is in a file- c:\unzipped\southpm2\southpm2\.exe/data The virus is a trojan.win32.start page. jm
is there a way to get rid of this? My virus scan said it could not delete so it put in a file that could not be corrupted. Help please. Rick

What virus scan ?(online or downloaded=AVG , Norton)
if Norton or AVG or other do you have recent updates ?

Try running the scan in safe mode? Or try the online scan at http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
Probability factor of one to one...we have normality, I repeat we have normality. Anything you still can't cope with is therefore your own problem.

How about just using explorer to delete it? Or has your av quarantined it?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
