    virus

I recently ran a scan on my machine and found a virus, need to know how to get rid of it. The virus is in a file- c:\unzipped\southpm2\southpm2\.exe/data The virus is a trojan.win32.start page. jm
is there a way to get rid of this? My virus scan said it could not delete so it put in a file that could not be corrupted. Help please. Rick

Try running the scan in safe mode? Or try the online scan at http://housecall.trendmicro.com/

How about just using explorer to delete it? Or has your av quarantined it?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."
