That was odd
I just got back to my desk, after the entire building (about 25 floors) was emptied due to some emergency at about 11AM.
Still don't know what happened.

The cops showed, and we did see an ambulance strolling by accompanied by a RCMP patrol car, but me and two others from the IT department went for suchi instead of waiting around.
Still don't know what went on, but it must have been important to justify the evac of hundreds of people.
There was no fire alarm.

I was wondering about that myself, whether or not someone would have caused this just to skip out early...
BTW, I mispelled sushi up there.
Mmmmh. Sushi....

Is everyone back yet or are you just waiting for the terrorists to find the IT department ?

Everyone has been back in sonce after lunch...
Since IT is in the dungeon, it takes a while for the news (and terrorists) to reach us.

Just read all their e-mails, I'm sure they're all talking about it.

Wow.
Just learned it was an emergency practice drill.
Oh well.
Sushi was good (prepared by hand, fresh) - probably better than the "lunch & learn" session we had planned.
Still burping wasabi though...
